How to read the map
Six job lines. Two axes. One star per line. Your coordinate is a stop on one of them.
The quiz asks three things: your operator level, the job you care about, then the station that is you today. Everything on this page is the key to what comes back.
01The first axis
Operator level, L0 to L5. How you work.
Ranks come from what you do, not tools you own. Same six published rungs for everyone.
Read the ladder from the top and stop at the highest rung that is honestly true across everything you do. That rung is your level. It names what you can reliably do, so the next step is one honest rung, not a personality label.

02The second axis
Altitude, A0 to A5. How much of the job AI already carries.
Level is about you. Altitude is about the job. At A0 you do the work and AI advises. At A5 systems supervise systems and you govern the fleet.
A stop always carries both numbers. Ops stop 3, The meeting never lost, sits at L2 Checker and A2 Review: a checker-level operator, on a job where AI does the task and you approve each output.

03One line, read end to end
Left to right is level. Bottom to top is altitude. The star is the frontier.
Every line is drawn on the same grid. A track climbs from the origin at the bottom left toward its star. Stops are numbered in route order, so "stop 3 of 6" means the same thing on every diagram.
Progress is counted in stops, never in fractions and never in percent. Three stops to the star is three stops.
04The six lines
Each line is a job. The question is the one the map asks.
Ops, Sales, Content, Answers, Media, Build. Six jobs, six lines. Each line has its own stops and its own frontier, so the star on Answers sits at A3 Exceptions while the star on Ops sits at A4 Autonomous.
You can ride more than one line. Your ticket carries a stamp per line you have ridden.

05Stations and tools
A station is a behavior. A tool is a pin on it.
A station is one behavior on a line, at one level and one altitude. "Every call recorded, notes plus an action list you approve" is a station. Otter.ai is not; it is a tool pinned to that station.
Tools are marked S, A or B. S comes before A. S and A get links. B is listed by name with no link. Ranks come from what you do, not from the tools you own.
06The frontier star
The star is the last published stop on a line, and it carries a date.
Nothing on a line is published past its star. That edge moves, so every diagram says when it was last checked: Frontier last checked Jul 16, 2026. If you are on the star, you are at the end of the line.
The distance from your stop to that star is the gap. The distance is the leak. The Sit-Down measures it in hours.
